GAME QUEUE NOTIFIER 1.0.0

GQN watches a selected game or application and alerts you when it detects a
configured event. It can react to Windows taskbar flashing or a visual change
in a selected part of the window. Check its behavior with your game first.

Installation
Requirements: Windows 10 or 11 and Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8.
Run GameQueueNotifier-Setup-v1.0.0.exe from your normal Windows account.
It installs for the current user without requiring administrator rights.
Open GQN from its Start-menu or desktop shortcut.

First use
1. Start your game, then select it on the Detection tab.
2. Choose a detection method. For visual changes, select a window area and
save its baseline while waiting for the event.
3. Click START MONITORING. Enable Stage 2 only if you need a separate second
event; it can monitor the same application or a different one.

Taskbar detection requires the game to send taskbar-flashing notifications.
Visual capture may not work with a minimized window; some games stop rendering
while minimized. Use GQN's capture test. After changing the monitored area,
save an appropriate baseline again.

Sound and help
Use the included sounds or import WAV and MP3 files. GQN's audio-output choice
applies to WAV; MP3 uses the Windows default output. After reconnecting a headset,
click Refresh audio. Reconnect an unavailable output or explicitly choose another.
Hover over an option for an explanation. Reopen Quick Start from Info.
Activity Log helps you check detected events.

Keyboard controls
Tab moves between fields. When a tab-header button has focus, Left/Right switch
tabs and Home/End select the first/last tab. In the area-selection window, arrows
move the rectangle, Shift + arrows resize it, Ctrl increases the step, Enter
accepts, and Esc cancels.

Automation and removal
The optional background helper can perform saved game-start actions even when
the main window is closed. Check its status in Settings. Choose a custom script
or program only if you trust its source.
Uninstall through Windows Settings > Apps. Removal of saved GQN data is selected
by default; clear that option if you want to keep your settings.
Uninstalling GQN does not remove games or external scripts.

COPYRIGHT.txt and LICENSE.txt describe authorship and terms of use.
See the included privacy text for information about local data.

GAME QUEUE NOTIFIER 1.0.0 - PRIVACY
Woltano | 2026-10-19
=============================================

GQN works locally on your Windows computer. It contains no telemetry, advertising
analytics or automatic crash-report uploads. It does not send your game list,
settings, baseline images or logs to the author.

Data used and stored locally
- Interface, audio and detection settings, game profiles, presets and saved
automation settings. These can include full paths to application executables
  and selected scripts or programs.
- Saved baseline images of selected window areas. These are real image fragments
and can contain information visible in the application.
- Copies of imported sounds and configuration backups.
- The current Activity Log in memory and helper logs and automation-status files
on disk. Diagnostics can contain local paths, application names, process IDs
and start times, system and audio-device information, application version
  and helper status.

GQN reads standard Windows information about windows, processes, taskbar
notifications and audio devices. Visual-change detection captures the selected
window's image. GQN does not modify game files, read or write game-process memory,
inject code, or control keyboard or mouse input in games.

The installed edition stores the application and its data in the current user's
folder:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\GameQueueNotifier
The installer creates private folders and sets permissions on its own installation
folder. Before performing automatic actions, the helper checks local paths and
file/folder permissions. It does not upload that information. With automation
enabled, the helper can run after the main window closes and at Windows sign-in.

Sharing and external actions
Copy diagnostics places text on the Windows clipboard; it does not send it.
You decide whether and where to paste it. Some paths are redacted, but other paths
or information in messages may remain. Review diagnostic text, baseline images
and the application folder before sharing them.

Clicking the author's support link opens the external website
https://buymeacoffee.com/woltano in your browser. That website has its own privacy
practices. The optional custom action starts a script or program you select.
That external file determines its own data handling and network connections.

Removal
Removal of saved GQN data is selected by default during uninstallation. You can
clear that option to keep settings, presets, baseline images and imported sounds.
External games and scripts are not removed. Copies you made yourself, diagnostics
you shared and the installer's log may remain outside the removed installation.
